What exactly is paywalled?

The full interactive checkride/oral-prep set, Checkride Lab, map Route Brief and advanced weather overlays are Pro. Free users can try two oral subjects in every rating. Pro adds examiner follow-up conversations, mock-orals, debriefs, and PDF checkride packets. Public checkride study pages and FAA-source reference articles remain open. Charts, METARs, radar, basic routing and Written Prep remain free.

What happens if I already have more than the Free aircraft or flight limit?

PilotDesk does not delete existing local data. You can keep using, editing, exporting, or deleting what is already saved; Pro is required to create additional aircraft profiles or saved flights above the Free limit.

Does Pro include Written Prep?

Written Prep core modes remain free. Pro includes the full Checkride Lab, source-based Study Plans, the Pro Preflight workspace, expanded saved planning workflows, cloud backup/restore, and an ad-free signed-in experience.

Do aircraft and flights sync automatically?

No. Aircraft and saved flights stay in this browser. Export them for transfer, or use Pro to back up eligible planning data manually and restore it on another device. Supported study and profile progress follows your account.

Can I cancel or update my card?

Yes. Active paid accounts can open Stripe billing management from the PilotDesk account page.
